Archway Veterinary Practice is based in Petersfield, which is within the South Downs National Park.
We specialise in small animal first opinion medicine and surgery with links to referral level specialists who can perform certain advanced procedures.
We are an RCVS accredited Small Animal General Practice. We aim to offer a professional, relaxed family atmosphere, and are committed to providing quality care throughout the life of your pet.
Archway Veterinary Practice was founded in 1991, by Michael Cave when he began as a solo veterinary surgeon.
Before becoming a veterinary surgery, the Archway property was used for a number of different purposes. It began as a Blacksmiths over 100 years ago, it then became a home prior to Michael Cave transforming it into the practice you see today.
In 2013 Michael took the decision to retire, and sold the practice. Archway Veterinary Practice was acquired by CVS (UK) Limited in March 2013 and now operates as part of this larger group of veterinary practices and veterinary service providers.
Caroline Balfour BVSc PgC (SACS) MRCVS leads the team of vets, nurses, receptionists and office staff who are all dedicated to the care and welfare of your pets, from routine healthcare through to extensive surgical and medical treatments.
